Brescia won their first home game since November after a first-half hat-trick from Luca Toni handed them a 3-0 win over Perugia.

The £10 million man put his side ahead after just ten minutes when he found himself free in the area to fire past Oscar Cordoba in the Perugia goal.

1-0 became 2-0 on 28 minutes after a Rahman Rezaei mistake allowed him to head home an Andrea Sussi cross.

Perugia rarely threatened the other cage, although Fabian O'Neill did go close from a free-kick. In the 44th minute, though, Toni completed his hat-trick with a fine volley.

Brescia move out of the relegation zone as a result of this win, while Perugia remain 8th.
