Tasnim - Iranian football club Rah Ahan announced the signing of Cypriot winger Athos Solomou on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old player has joined the Tehran-based football club on a six-month contract for an undisclosed fee.

Solomou started his career from Apollon Limassol's Academy. He stayed in Apollon for 7 years and won one Cypriot Championship and one Cypriot Super Cup with the team.

Solomou has also played at Apoel, Enosis Neon Paralimni, and Doxa Katokopias.

He also played 13 times for Cyprus football team.

Rah Ahan is  now sitting 14th in the Iran Professional League table, in the relegation zone.
