“Mehdi is like a very old truck driver. I have a good feeling when he plays,” Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung quoted Skibbe as saying.
The 32-year-old Iranian can replace Chris in right back, Eintracht coach added.
“Mehdi has taken part in all our training sessions since I have been in Frankfurt. He is well trained and a good candidate for right defender,” said Skibbe.
Eintracht football team is 9th in the German Bundesliga standing table.
