IRNA - Hanover 96 forward Vahid Hashemian is set to resume training next week following his knee injury, the Kicker sports magazine reported Thursday.

The Iranian international, who suffered the knee injury during his team's scoreless tie at Mainz 05 on April 8, is scheduled to begin with only light jogging exercises.

Hashemian has so far scored only four goals in 29 games for Hanover 96, which is presently ranked 12th in the first German football division with 36 points out of 31 matches.
