PTV - Iran's friendly match against Kuwait could be canceled because of FIFA's recent decision to suspend the Kuwait Football Association.

The world soccer's governing body suspended the Kuwait Football Association after a long-standing dispute over the running of the association.

"We had given a supplementary delay" to the Kuwaitis before finally suspending them, President Sepp Blatter said at FIFA's Executive Committee meeting in Zurich on Friday.

The Kuwaitis have been "definitively suspended" from international matches, he added.

Iran was scheduled to play a friendly match against Kuwait on November 14.

FIFA had requested that Kuwait name five members to the local body, while the Kuwaiti government appointed about 14 members. FIFA considers this to be an interference of political authorities in the football federation.

FIFA's executive committee also suspended the Samoan Football Association over repeated management problems.

According to FIFA Secretary General, Jerome Valcke, Kosovo's attempt to join the body has been rejected; the Peruvians have been under close surveillance, as FIFA maintains that there is political interference in their federation.
