Esteghlal wins over Pas to forget Sepasi’s heavy loss [PHOTO+VIDEO]



MNA - Esteghlal football team achieved an inspiring victory over Pas of Hamedan on Sunday to forget the 4-1 heavy defeat against Moghavemat Sepasi of Shiraz.

The Tehran-based team defeated Pas 1-0 in the 28th week of the Iran Professional League (IPL) in front of around 30,000 spectators at the Azadi
Stadium.

Siavash Akbarpour’s header in the 21st minute was enough to give a vital victory to IPL leaders.

Esteghlal remains top of the IPL standing with 56 points, followed by Zob Ahan with 53 and Persepolis with 48 points.
