After the game Mohammad Ahmadzadeh, an ex-player of the team and the present coach of Malavan said, "I was satisfied with the boys performance in the second half. It was a good game altogether. The average age range of our team is very low. All the players are young, but inexperienced. I hope they will present better games in the future. I congratulate Esteghlal and their coaches on their victory. I also wish them success in their other games." There was a slight clash between the supporters of the teams at the end of the match, which ended quickly.
