Tasnim - Former Iran national football team goalkeeper Daniel Davari joined MSV Duisburg, currently plays in 2. Bundesliga, on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old goalie has joined MSV Duisburg from Arminia Bielefeld on a two-year contract.

Davari completed just eight games for the Arminia in the last season.

He has made four appearances for Iran national football team.

Davari made his debut for Team Melli against Thailand on November 15, 2013, keeping a clean sheet in a 3–0 Asian Cup qualifier win.

The goalkeeper, who was born in Giessen, Germany to a Polish-German mother and an Iranian father, was called into Iran’s 2014 FIFA World Cup squad by Carlos Queiroz but was an unused substitute with Alireza Haghighi starting all three matches for Iran.
