PLDC - Korbekandi was critical of his team's defense as well as the referees. In a press conference that both coaches participated, the Bosnian coach of the Qatari club told reporters: "In the first half, some of our players were not organized and did not find each other well, but during the half, I told a few of our players to step forward at the sides and come out of their defensive shell." Regarding the Zob Ahan team the Bosnian coach said: "I had watched their earlier games and I knew how strong of a team they are, and our goal was to get at least a point out of this game which we did." The head coach of the Qatari side was happy with the game overall. On the other side however, Mr. Korbekandi was not happy with his team's performance overall and blamed the referee for making two mistakes on two of SC Qatar's goals. Korbekandi told reporters: "After scoring the first goal, some of our players were satisfied and relaxed and that made our defense to make mistakes in the back and concede three goals in a short period, but we made some substitutions and fortunately were able to get two goals and tie the match." At the end Korbekandi said: "We can beat this team in Qatar but overall lack of experience has created problems for us which we hope we can overcome." Posted By: Armin A. |
