PFDC - DOHA, Iranian midfield ace Andranik Teymourian joined Qatari club Al Kharaitiyat SC on Sunday, after officially agreeing to an one year contract in Doha for an undisclosed amount.

The club, owned by Al Jazeera chairman Hamad bin Thamer, finished in eighth position last season and has regularly struggled to stay in Qatar's top league.

The midfielder has played for well known Bolton Wanderers and Fulham FC in England, while also making an appearances for Barnsley FC on a loan.

Teymourian will be leaving Iranian giants Esteghlal F.C, which will meanwhile be left with the tough task for replacing the aggressive defensive midfielder.
