Tasnim - Panionios owner, Nikos Zamanis, claims that the club is in talks with PAOK over the transfer of Iranian international striker Karim Ansarifard.

Ansarifard has been heavily linked lately with both Olympiakos and Panathinaikos. According to Zamanis, however, PAOK is in talks to sign Ansarifard.

Speaking to Metropolis 95.5 FM, Zamanis said that Panionios and PAOK have started negotiating the deal and the talks are ongoing.

“There are talks with PAOK but nothing is done yet. We need to speak to the player and his agent as well. His contract runs out over the summer but there is a right to extend it,” Zamanis said.

Ansarifard joined Greek Superleague club Panionios from Osasuna in 2015.
