Tasnim - Tractor Sazi football team advanced to Iran’s Hazfi Cup final thanks to last-gasp winner by Mohammad Nouri.

The Tabriz-based team defeated Zob Ahan 3-2 in extra time to book a place in the final match.

In the match held in Isfahan Foolad Shahr Stadium, Ehsan Pahlevan gave Zob Ahan a lead in the 45th minute.

Zob Ahan reduced to 10 men after Morteza Tabrizi received his second yellow card in the 70th minute.

Farzad Hatami equalized the match in the 90th minute and the match finished 1-1 in the regular time.

Mohammad Ebrahimi put the visiting team into the lead two minutes into the first extra time but Karrar Jassim received his second yellow card nine minute later.

Zob Ahan put Tractor Sazi under pressure afterward and with one minute remaining was awarded a penalty. Former Persepolis striker Jerry Bengtson found the back of the net from the spot.

Just one minute later, Nouri silenced the stadium with a long range shot to give Tractor Sazi a late winner.

Tractor Sazi will face Naft Tehran in the final match on May 11, 2017.
