Daei complains about Uhlsport ball

PLDC - Tehran, Ali Daei becomes another person in Iranian football to complain about the official league ball, made by Uhlsport.

Several players have complained about this ball, calling it too sticky and saying it doesn't glide and roll well enough on the grass.

Daei complains, "These balls were manufactured in 2007. How could we, a country that has made it to the World Cup, be using a ball that was manufactured in 2007? "

He continued, "These balls have probably been stuck in the company's storage for six years, and I think they were purchased for 2-3 dollars each. Iran's league has had a contract with Uhlsport since 2007, so have they waited six years to give us these balls?"

Uhlsport has officially responded to this and have said that these balls were not manufactured in 2007, but registered with FIFA in that year.
