MNA – Striker Sohrab Entezari hit two and provided one to help Persepolis take the second place provisionally with a 3-2 win over Abu Moslem in the 29th week of the fourth Iran Pro League in Azadi Stadium in western Tehran Saturday.
Persepolis, which fell behind on 18 minutes with the goal of visitor’s Mehdi Kheiri, took the lead as nimble Entezari grabbed his double in the 24th and 38th minutes.

The reds’ toast, Entezari, turned provider 17 minutes after the break, feeding midfielder Ebrahim Assadi, whose low drive took a vicious deflection off defender, kissing the net.

Abu Moslem scored its consolation goal on 77 minutes, when Kheiri slid a superb pass for Mojtaba Jabbari, who stunned keeper Mohammad Mohammadi with a spectacular side-footed kick.

The narrow victory helped the reds occupy the second slot on 55 points while Abu Moslem remained in the seventh place with 38 points.

Other seven games of the 29th week are played Sunday.
