Tasnim – Professional Turkish football club Menemenspor has shown interest in signing Iranian goalkeeper Alireza Haghighi.
The 31-year-old goalie is in Izmir at the moment to negotiate with the Turkish club, the daily Hurriyet reported.
Haghighi, who started his goalkeeping career in Iranian club Persepolis, was a member of Iran national football team in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
He has also played in Russian club Rubin Kazan, Portuguese teams Sporting Covilha, Penafiel and Marítimo and Swedish clubs Eskilstuna and Sundsvall.
Menemenspor is a team in the TFF First League in the second level of the Turkish football league system.
