MNA - Persepolis maestro Ali Karimi said on Tuesday that their newly-appointed Portuguese coach needs more time to earn good results in the team.
Speaking after a 1-0 win over Abu Moslem football team at the Azadi Stadium, Karimi said, “We could have won with more goals if our strikers took advantage of their chances. Of course, we earned three vital points and that is important.”

“Nelo Vingada needs more time and we will have to talk about his performances in the next matches,” Karimi added.

Asked about returning to the national team, Karimi stated, “I would rather not speak about Iran’s national team but I wish them all the best and hope that they qualify for the 2010 World Cup.”
