MNA - Sepahan of Isfahan played out a goalless draw against Saba of Qom on Monday.

Sepahan moved four points clear at the top of the Iran Professional League (IPL) standings table in the match at Isfahan’s Fooladshahr Stadium, which lasted over 100 minutes due to injury time.
The Isfahan-based team created many chances against Saba, but their strikers were not able to take advantage of the opportunities.

“We could have gotten closer to the title but didn’t do as well as we wanted. So our next three matches will be very important for us,” Sepahan coach Amir Ghalenoei said.

Sepahan is in first place in the IPL standings with 62 points, followed by Esteghlal and Zob Ahan with 58 and 57 points respectively.
