National team players still against Ferdousipour/ if there were no football you had to report chess



PLDC - Tehran, While about three to four weeks have passed since London Olympic Competition, the national team players of Iran are still boycotting the mass media.


According to news, everything started from London Olympic Competitions with glorious performance of some athletes creating a negative atmosphere against football.

Adel Ferdosipour and Javad Khiabani ironically talked about Iranian football players and football. Another important issue was the wages amounting to billions received by the players which in most cases was negatively reacted by the mass media and other athletes from other branches.

The national team players were pressed by the national radio and television during the Olympic Competitions and this same issue made them reach to a group decision at Hungary camp to boycott the mass media.

Those who were also informed of this decision were Javad Nekounam, Seyed Mahdi Rahmati, and Ali Karimi. Now, upon the decision made by the elders of the team, the national team players are not ready to interview.

The interesting point is that the national team players are also talking against Adel Ferdosipour in the new national team camp. Carlos Queiroz the head coach of the  national team called their silence a reasonable decision in his last interview with the Federation site and supported it.

He also condemned the national team critics. These criticisms motivated talks of these types against the last “90 program” on national TV and the success of the Para Olympic players at Jordan camp.

In their friendly talks, the players frankly use expressions like “Adel became famous through the same football and if there were no football he would report chess. If there were no football, he would be a showman at TV entertaining competitions, such as the TV weekly games executed by Manoucher Nozari!” In a reaction to this hasty behavior of the national players, Adel sowed their weak matches and brought about annoyance to people. He decided to introduce the Youth Pro League, those who can take the national football out of torpidity.
