Farahani: "I am not ready to help Dr. Dadkan"

PLDC - One can only help and support another when one is kept up to date to the existing environment and only than the help is useful, but I do not have the time for it at this point.

Mohsen Safaee Farahani said, "all that has happened in IFF in the past 3 months, had been planned and organized a head of time, a year form now one can judge the new comers based on their performance and their abilities. Only than it is fair to judge them. At the moment, It is too early to say anything about the performance of the people involved in IFF currently."

The representative of the people of Tehran in the parliament in regard to a question on whether he was asked to become an advisor to DR. Dadkan, said: "No, no one has connected me yet, but I do not have time for such thing and one can only help and support another when one is kept up to date to the existing environment and only than the help is useful, but I do not have the time to keep my self up to date with Football at this point", he said.

Safaee Farahani about Branko Ivankovich and the reason he left said: " Foreign coaches who come to countries such as Iran, have priorities that are even more important than money and these are organizational support and help that they get so that they can be successful. When Ivankovich came to Iran, he worked with Blazovich for a year and during that time we went over a year long plan and we were able to work by it too. If any foreign coach is to come to Iran, we must do the same thing with him, I do not know if we can again work with Ivankovich or not."

The former president of IFF also mentioned that: " the person who will accept this position must be familiar with management work in IFF. The Iranian Football Federation is active through out the country and the right candidate must be familiar with this kind of work. He must know the football family and know how such relationships are and get things organized and in order. He must be able to keep a rational relationship with all clubs and provide healthy grounds for them to achieve success. He must also be able to communicate with the international Football community which is an essentional at the current time. A person with such conditions will push our football to success.

At the end, Safaee Farahani concluded that: " In football, I can not just choose a replacement for myself. Nor is Electing the president of IFF like the Parliament that the whole town can vote. There are 43 people who elect IFF's president in which 37 are unchanged. All These people are football scholars and know the candidates well, they will choose the best out of the candidates.
