Paatoop - Iranian international Ashkan Dejagah has returned to his old club VfL Wolfsburg.

The veteran winger/ attacking midfielder has returned to the club that he originally joined in 2007 (from Hertha BSC).

In the 2008-09 season, he won the Bundesliga with the Wolves, and from 2012-2014 he played for Fulham in the Premier League.

He signed with Qatari club Al Arabi in 2014, and was chosen the as his team’s player-of-the-season for 2014-15

Dejagah represented Germany at multiple levels from U17 to U21, but joined Iran’s senior squad in 2012.

Wolfsburg is trying to add to its offensive strength, as this Lower Saxony club is now 14th in the Bundesliga, and they hope to do just that by bringing back Dejagah, who some call “The Iranian Pitbull”, because of his fighting spirit and physical strength.
