PLDC – Iranian media reports suggest that ex-Team Melli coach Afshin Ghotbi has been linked with a move to Sepahan and Tractor Sazi.
Ghotbi, nicknamed Emperor, was most recently coach of Thailand’s Buriram United.
Ghotbi's agent Mehdi Hajbagher has confirmed the 54-year-old coach will return to Iran to coach a team in the country.
Iranian media have reported that he has been linked with Sepahan and Tractor Sazi.
Ghotbi led Persepolis to Iranian Professional League championship in May 2008.
He was appointed as Team Melli coach in 2009 and took charge of Shimizu S-Pulse after leaving Iran national football team.
According to his agent, Ghotbi will travel to Iran after the 2018 World Cup.
