PLDC – Persepolis coach Branko Ivankovic said Sadegh Moharrami has reached an agreement with Croatian top-flight football team Dinamo Zagreb.
The 22-year-old midfielder joined Persepolis in June 2016 on a two year contract and made his debut on 21 September 2016 in a 3–1 victory against Sepahan.
“Moharrami will join Dinamo Zagreb in the next season. I wish him all the best. I am very sad because Sadegh is a key player for us but I think he has a bright future,” Ivankovic said after victory over the UAE’s Al Jazira.
The loss of Moharrami is a serious blow as Persepolis is not allowed to sign new player in the summer transfer windows.
