PLDC – Persepolis football team will hold a training camp in Zagreb, Croatia as part of preparation for the Iran Professional League (IPL) new season.
The IPL 2018/19 season will kick off on July 26 and defending champion Persepolis will play Padideh in the opening match in Mashhad.
Branko Ivankovic’s men will leave Tehran on Saturday and will return to Iran on July 13.
Persepolis will face Al Duhail of Qatar in the 2018 AFC Champions League (ACL) quarter-final in late August.
Esteghlal also will hold a training camp in Turkey or Austria to prepare for the IPL new season.
Winfried Schaefer’s team finished in third place last season and is a title contender in the upcoming season.
