IRNA - National midfielder Javad Nekounam on Sunday grabbed the winner for Pas, handing visitor Abu Moslem a 1-0 defeat and his side the second place in the league's table. 
Playing a 24th week match of Iran Pro League (IPL) in Shahid Dastgerdi Stadium of Tehran, Pas increased its points to 39 as Nekounam scored a three-point goal in the 61st minute. 
Out of 24 games, Abu Moslem has 23 points, standing in the 12th place of the 14-team league's table. 
in other matches, the league champion Sepahan saw off Esteqlal of Ahvaz with a 1-0 loss in Naqsh-e Jahan Stadium of Isfahan. 
In a fans-free Takhti Stadium of Ahvaz, Foulad defeated visitor SAIPA 2-0. 
Barq of Shiraz playing at home, Hafezieh Stadium, beat the Tehran-based Paykan 1-0. 
The bottom-placed Malavan lost its home match to Zob Ahan of Isfahan 1-0. 
In Abadan, San'at Naft hosted Fajr-e Sepassi of Shiraz. The match ended in a 1-1 draw. 
In Isfahan, Moharram Navidkia scored the winner for Sepahan after four minutes into the injury time of second half. 
Navidkia and his teammate Edmond Bezik are spearheading the goalscorers' table with 12 goals each. 
Foulad netted in the injury time of the first and second halves. 
Seraj fired home in the first minute of additional time before the break and Abdollah Veissi scored in the second minute of injury time before the final whistle. 
Alireza Abbasfard of Barq slotted home in the third minute of second half's injury time. 
Malavan was stunned at home in the very first minute of the match as Zob's Jalal Omidian grabbed the winner. 
Naft and Fajr struggled to a 1-1 tie as Davoud Seyed Abbassi opened the scoring for Naft in the 12th minute that was immediately responded by Fajr's Siavash Akbarpour, who netted one minute later. 

BIG BLUE-RED DERBY SLATED FOR JUNE 8 
Esteqlal and Persepolis will take over 100,000 die-hard fans out of their homes on Sunday, June 8. Known as blue and red, the two popular sides are to pit their players in the 24th week of Iran Pro League (IPL) in the newly-repaired Azadi Stadium, 10 km west of Tehran, announced the public relations manager of IPL Organization on Sunday. 
Talking to IRNA, Alireza Kord added the president of Iran's Football Federation (IFF) ordered to reschedule the eagerly-awaited Esteqlal-Persepolis match. 
He said the main reason behind the postponement is an LG tournament in Nigeria in which the national squad of Iran is participating. 
The big derby was to be played on May 30.
