Tasnim – Controversial midfielder Mohsen Mosalman penned a contract with Iranian football club Sepahan on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old midfielder cancelled his contract with Zob Ahan and joined another Isfahan-based football club Sepahan until the end season.
The details of the contract have not been revealed.
Mosalman joined Zob Ahan at the start of Iran Professional League (IPL) current season after being deemed surplus to requirements by Persepolis coach Branko Ivankovic.
The iconic midfielder helped Persepolis win IPL back-to-back title but was forced to leave the team.
Now, Mosalman could help Sepahan, headed by Amir Ghalenoei, to win IPL title for the sixth time.
