PLDC – A top official from the Iran Football Federation has said that they will part company with Carlos Queiroz after the 2019 AFC Asian Cup ends.
The Portuguese coach has linked with Colombia football team and reached an initial agreement with the South American football team.
Mohammad Javad Sheshgalani, the head of East Azerbaijan football committee, has said the Iran football federation cannot afford to pay Queiroz due to the country’s financial problems.
He also said they will search for new replacements and Persepolis current coach Branko Ivankovic can be a good replacement for Queiroz.
Iran national football team, under guidance of Carlos Queiroz, has qualified for the AFC Asian Cup semi-finals and will meet Japan on Monday.
Team Melli is going to win the Asian Cup after 43 years.
