Tasnim – Karim Boostani resigned as the coach of struggling team Esteghlal Khuzestan on Tuesday.
Boostani, who had replaced Daryush Yazdani in the Ahvaz-based team, has stepped down from his role by mutual consent.
His assistant, Karim Ghanbari, has been named as Esteghlal Khuzestan interim coach.
Esteghlal Khuzestan remains bottom of the Iran Professional League (IPL) table with seven points from 19 matches.
It will play coach-less Sepidrood in Rasht on Friday.
