Tasnim – Iran U-19 football team has traveled to Jakarta to play two friendly matches with Indonesia.
The matches will be held as part of preparation for the November’s AFC U-19 Championship 2020 Qualifiers.
"We have made preparations for five days to play Iran. The 23 players we called were players who competed in the AFF Cup in Vietnam, nothing has changed,” Indonesian coach Fakhri Husaini said.
"We hope to get lessons from fighting Iran. Iran has recently won 2019 CAFA U-19 Championship and we know that they are a strong team," Fakhri said.
Iran will first meet Indonesia U-19 football team on Saturday.
