PLDC - Gholam Peyrovani is the ex-head coach of Bargh Shiraz (for 30 years) who has now changed over to Fajr Sepassi. In the third week of the Iranian Professional League (FRIDAY 01 NOVEMBER 2002) these two teams will face each other and battle it out. Fajr are now the leaders of the Iranian Professional League and Bargh is the 9th team.

In a press and media interview, Peyrovani commented, “Our boys are faithful and flexible. In the last two years Fajr has lost 9 players. They have taken everything. We are in the hands of God and we hold our faith. When we saw that the three new players we wanted to buy would cost 135 million Tomans, we thought it would be better to spread this money out among the 17 players we now have.”

“I have known Ghasempour (Bargh Shiraz coach) for 30 years and we used to play together. We both respect each other. If there were slight disputes in the matches of the two teams, it was not my doing. Bargh is Fajr’s bigger brother club and I respect them. I was with Bargh for 30 years and played for them until I was 40. Now I am at the service of Fajr and when they don’t want me any more, I’ll respectfully step aside.”
