Alireza Haghighi - Alireza Jamali

Paatoop.com - Iranian footballer Alireza Jamali is heading to Serbia in the summer, to play in this country’s top division.

Jamali, who last played for Lanexang United in Laos for the Minister Cup, has decided to head back to Europe, but this time to Serbia.

The 25-year-old strongman, who played for Portugal’s SC Covilha, has all the things in motion for his move to the Balkan nation.

In a short interview with Paatoop, Jamali said “I’m going to Europe again, so I can be in Team Melli soon- this is my dream and goal. My agency has negotiated with one of the top clubs in Serbia, and they have sent me an invitation. We wanted to make this move happen for the winter transfer window, but didn’t have enough time to get the travel visa. However, I will have my visa for the summer, and will be flying to Serbia to play in their league. I am in great shape; I have been training very hard”

He added, “As you know Serbia is a very strong football nation. They are absolutely crazy about this sport, and this is the type of environment that I would like to be in: a place where the people are passionate about football and their clubs.”
