PLDC- Iran national football team striker Mehdi Taremi could be Team Melli’s secret weapon in the 2018 World Cup.
Iran has been drawn along with Morocco, Spain and Portugal in Group B.
The Persians will start the competition with a match against Morocco on June 15 and explosive Taremi is one to look out for as he has been prolific for Al Gharafa in Qatar since signing for the club in January.
A fiery character, Taremi has a special talent to create scoring chances for his teammates and himself, meaning he could be Iran’s secret weapon, independent.co.uk reported.
The 25-year-old forward has 11 goals in his 25 appearances for Iran and is highly rated by Iranian supporters.
