PLDC – Uzbekistani midfielder Server Djeparov has reportedly reached an agreement with Esteghlal football team.
The 36-year-old player, who left Esteghlal for Zhetysu of Kazakhstan in July, is on the verge of return to the Iranian club.
Esteghlal first should pay off its $130,000 debt to Djeparov.
Djeparov completed his move to Esteghlal in 2017, however his internal contract could not be registered with Esteghlal due to a FIFA imposed transfer ban. Later he joined Sepahan on loan until the end of the season.
Last season, Djeparov was a key player of Esteghlal and helped the team win Iran’s Hazfi Cup.
He was also named "Persian Gulf Pro League top assister of the Year at the end of the season.
Dejparov will reportedly join Esteghlal in January transfer window.
