PLDC – Iran international striker Sardar Azmoun has reached an agreement with Iranian football club Tractor Sazi.
The 24-year-old striker, who currently plays for Rubin Kazan of Russia, will reportedly join the Tabriz-based football team in the January transfer window.
Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) has reported that Azmoun will sign a contract with Tractor Sazi after the end of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup, where Team Melli is pitted against Vietnam, Iraq and Yemen in Group D.
Azmoun has been praised for his aerial ability, creativity, and bursts of acceleration.
He has been referred to as a young Zlatan Ibrahimovic and has also been called the Iranian Messi by mainly British media.
Tractor Sazi football club has already signed Iranian international captains Ashkan Dejagah and Masoud Shojaei and Team Melli winger Ehsan Hajsafi.
