PTV - Iran's national soccer manager Ali Daei has said that his men will play two friendly games against Catalonia and Basque teams in Spain.

“The Iranian squad will hold two friendly matches with Catalonia and Basque teams,” Fars news quoted Daei as saying on Friday.

“The matches will benefit the Iranian outfit since some Spanish national players play in these two teams,” he added.

The boss further added that Spain can't afford the time to play a friendly against Iran's soccer team due to a busy schedule.

The Iranian soccer team has played a number of friendlies to prepare itself for a better performance in the 2010 World Cup.

Iran is in Group B of the final Asian qualifying round, competing against Saudi Arabia, North Korea, the UAE and South Korea.
