PLDC - Mahmood Yavari, Abu Moslem head coach, is unhappy and upset with the way the Professional League matches are being judged. Although Abu Moslem at present stands fourth in the league table and has won one game and drawn two, he believes that this is only temporary and things will change.

In a post match press interview, Yavari said, “The match against Zob Ahan (3rd week) was good. Zob Ahan had been counting on getting the three points from the match. This expectation gave the Zob players stress and
reduced their performance. We performed well, especially in the second half.”

“To be honest, we did not enjoy ourselves. Football can have nice and ugly and ordinary scenes but I did not see any thing nice on the stands of the stadium (regarding bad fan behavior and commentary during the
match). As hosts we should have provided a better welcome for our guests.
The refereeing this year has not been very good. The referees have to be briefed and have to study more. I am forced to be satisfied with the referees of all matches as there has been a separation of duties in football and game judgment in none of my business. Just as the referees have no right to interfere with our work, we have not right to interfere in theirs.”

“I cannot say if the results are good at present and we must wait for the future. There will obviously be changes to the present rankings. Do not forget that 8 players have left us this year which means the team formation has completely changed. For now we are doing well.”
